Middle East Tensions: India Repatriates 13,000 Citizens Amid Crisis

Amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, the Government of India has successfully repatriated over 13,000 Indian nationals, including 10,000 from Gulf countries and nearly 3,000 from Iran.

The evacuation was carried out through special flights coordinated by Indian embassies and the Ministry of External Affairs. Priority was given to women, children, elderly citizens, and those with medical needs.

Officials stated that round-the-clock control rooms and helplines were activated to assist affected families. The government continues to monitor the situation closely and has indicated that additional flights may be arranged if required.

The swift evacuation highlights India’s diplomatic coordination and crisis management capabilities during geopolitical instability.
